From CAD data directly to functional metal parts. By using the Laser Melting method complicated components and forms are built up from a basic powder material in a short time like:
- inserts for Die Casting tools and Injection Moulding tools (hot working steel) with outline-adapted coolant ducts
- construction unit manufacturing with almost infinite geometrical variability (unrealisable with conventional manufacturing methods) like sheet metal parts, medical instruments, components for motorsports
The components are able to be machined and welded. Mechanical properties can be positioned specifically positiv by means of warm treatment
